If you’ve been to Cyber Hub even once, chances are someone must have told you to check out Soi 7. From the newest kid on the block to the big daddy in just two years – this fight club themed microbrewery by the team of Striker is here to stay. In fact, we hear it’s expanding soon as well. The Asian fare inclined brewery’s highlights include a fully kitted indoor performance stage and an open-air boxing ring that hosts Thai kickboxing matches purely for entertainment. They have no trouble pulling in the crowd, as evidenced by a half hour waiting lists even on a Monday. While big groups flock towards their two outdoor spaces — a buzzing terrace lounge and a quiet balcony seating with a view of the brewing vats and the courtyard — the inside attracts music lovers with live bands and comedy gig nights. The bar is fully stocked and the brew has gotten better since they first opened with 4 options named after boxing moves. We found the Wheat (Knock Out) easily likeable, but the Brooklyn Amber (Straight Jab) went down smooth and the Premium (Upper Cut) left us begging for more. The kitchen isn’t as top notch though, so we suggest you steer clear of Japanese offerings and instead go for safe bets like Grilled Cane Prawn, Salt n Pepper Chicken or Corn n Cheese Wontons. Cheap brew + great entertainment options = a full house for Soi!
