Ever since Zorawar Kalra’s renowned Masala Library format came to Cyber Hub in a casual bistro bar avatar, patrons have been Instagramming pictures of their signature #Farzified offerings. And now with a new outlet in Connaught Place on its way, the fan club seems to be growing. While we love their food, we are creatures of habit and tend to flock towards the molecular mixology inspired bar first. The long bar counter isn’t content with playing second fiddle to the kitchen, so the bartenders are constantly innovating with options like Spaghetti Shots that are super fun and Chuski Margarita that you can both slurp and sip on. But it’s The Burning Bourbon, which comes with theatrics to elevate a great toasty Old Fashioned that we keep going back for along with an easily likeable Santa Bunta – a hit take on the classic Screwdriver. Pair these with some of their delicious tapas of wholesome Dal Chawal Arancini, sticky-sweet Chilli Pork Ribs with Kashmiri rista reduction, and the totally addictive Chicken 65 Lollipops with maple soy sauce + whiskey sour cream. We also love the Bloody Mary Kulchas for evenings that need carb-o-loading. Right across the bar, the room is dominated by a stage that comes alive on weekends with gigs featuring popular indie and electronic artists in true Farzi spirit. Critic Review Nightlife Review Food: 4/5 | Décor: 3.5/5 | Service: 3.5/5 - By Deepali Gupta Have you been #Farzified yet is a common question in Delhi these days. Ever since Zorawar Kalra#39;s renowned Masala Library format came to Cyber Hub in a casual bistro avatar, patrons have been Instagramming/talking about its offerings. We#39;ve been one of those fans, although as creatures of habit, we also flock there for a fix at their molecular mixology inspired bar. The long bar counter that rules one side of this modern Indian bistro isn’t okay playing second fiddle to the kitchen, so the bartenders are upping the ante. The eventual plan is to offer a tapas hour in the evening that will encourage people to drink up and get unlimited tapas as an add-on. Their Spaghetti Shots are fun, but it’s the Orange Passion Sphere we’d go back for. In tall drinks, the Santa Bunta is an easily likeable and sure-shot hit as a take on the classic Screwdriver. If you wanna go lush on some innovation, order the Chuski Margarita – a drink that you can both slurp and sip on or The Farzi Apple Foamtini, which is an attention hogger and makes for good theatre (though it will also remind you of Shroom’s concoctions). Pair these with some of their delicious tapas fare. Our picks would be the homely Dal Chawal Arancini, the sticky-sweet Chilli Pork Ribs with Kashmiri rista reduction, and the totally addictive Chicken 65 Lollipops with maple soy sauce + whiskey sour cream. Right across the bar, the room is dominated by a stage that comes alive on weekends with gigs featuring popular indie and electronic artists in true Farzi spirit!
