New Smoothie Bar @ Getafix Bridging the gap between great tasting food and food that’s good for you is this newbie in GK. A café space that is fun, lively and believes in guilt free indulgence – Getafix churns out burgers, pizzas, pastas, in-house baked bread, locally sourced meat and sauces made with fresh ingredients. Their signatures include a quinoa burger and air-fried fish and chips, but it’s the slow pressed freshly squeezed juices and smoothies that we are excited about. Made without any added syrups or sugars, it’s the perfect light start to the fe(a)stive season! Sunday Brunch @ Guppy by ai Cooler climes mean leisurely Sundays, which is why we are kicked about Guppy’s beautifully crafted brunch menu with a delish selection of soups, appetisers, steamed buns, tempura, sushi, grills, pizza pancakes, mains and desserts. There’s tataki, sashimi, sushi roll, tempura, grill, Okonomiyaki for some winter comfort alongside Steamed Mushroom Buns, Spicy Pork Buns and Chicken Suimai. Wash all of this down with special Japanese style beer cocktails and delicious mocktails as you mull over whether to go with the Green Tea and Chocolate Cake or Chocolate Fondant for dessert. Starting November 5th, you can dig into their Farm to Plate meals of modern French specials with locally sourced, organic ingredients. The first dinner is mushroom-based and here’s what’s going to be on the table – Mushroom Cappuccino with Goat Cheese Croutons, Wild Mushroom Ravioli with Truffle Sabayon, Mushroom Croquette with Morel Mousse on a Bed of Porcini Duxelle and Shitake Dashi, and Mushroomed Crème Brûlée.
