The play is about an aging prostitute, who was in a companionship with a don from 25 years and the Don has now moved and has taken up with a younger girl. She believes that she is on her deathbed and breathing her last.
The Don, seeing her condition, takes pity on her and marries her, but she suddenly recovers. The Don backs out of the marriage but she reveals that she has 3 grown up sons out of whom, one is of the Don himself.
