Singer- songwriter Mathias Durand will be playing at The Hungry Monkey for an evening of acoustic performance. This French musician has performed with Alacazas Jasey since 2001 and in the experimental septet IT since 2006 and is a guitarist and pianist with the John Mitchell Fleet (Head on, 2013), Jospeh Leon (The Bare Awakening, 2013), and collaborates with plasticians, poets and performers.
Fakhroddin Ghaffari is an Iranian-born percussionist who has lived in India for the past 13 years performing and collaborating with top musicians from the country. He has also taught at the Lancers International School, a branch of Cambridge University, and has written many articles and translated several books on Indian music from English to Farsi.
