The Threshold is featuring the solo exhibition of Vinod Daroz, where he unfolds his new tryst with clay via his artwork. With a combination of clay form, techniques and glaze, these artworks are an attempt by the artist, to give unique identity form to sculptures originating from symbolic references. All the work on display are prepared using wheel and altered stoneware, using clay as the base to give textures along with metal oxide to add the ornamental covering. Vinod takes his inspiration from temple towns down south of India besides Thousand Lingas at Hampi , Srisailam in Andhra and Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu.
