Vineet Kacker’s new solo exhibition – ‘Should I look for You, Should I lose myself’, will be showcased at Art Positive Gallery, curated by Anu Bajaj, director of the gallery. This new exhibition of his takes inspiration from the artists personal interaction with mystical philosophy. Focusing on ceramic art, after his formal training, there will be a video exhibition along with display of ‘Silence Violence’, exploring the seeds of violence and silence that is there in all of us.
Other subjects of his work, as part of the exhibition, includes – ‘Topographies of a Formless World’ the artists interpretation of a formless world best understood from an elevation; along with ‘The Architecture of Dissolution’, a series of Stupas built keeping in mind those who have attained a state of dissolution of their individual identity. There is also ‘The Indeterminable Distance between Aspiration and Alchemy’, travelogues through an indeterminable landscape and ‘Time-Timeless Landscapes’, where the lines inside an organic rock depict accumulated time and history.
"In several of Vineet#39;s works, influenced by the Himalayan landscape, he has cast himself, which articulate the interplay of experiences that thread time, mind, materiality and transcendence" says Anu Bajaj, Director Gallery Art Positive.
