One of the genuine surprises of Hauz Khas Village, this little space right by the Axis Bank sells some of the best gelati in the city. How consistent they’ll prove is another matter, but their boast is that their product has no additives or chemicals, and indeed it is low in sugar. They have barely a dozen flavours that range from the superlative roasted pistachio and the roasted almond to the interesting, refreshing lemon and the dark chocolate. It is difficult to tell a gelato made with commercial flavouring from one made entirely from scratch, because the Italian commercial flavourings are of a very high quality. But the roasted-nuts gelati are definitely made with real pistachios and almonds. Their other branch in Epicuria has the advantage of being permanent, unlike the Hauz Khas Village stall that moves periodically within the Village.
