The Swami Haridas Sangeet Nritya Mahotsava is an effort to revere the historical figure and skilled musician and countless other gurus like him who have inspired and sowed the seeds of talents in their students.
Conceptualised by Ms. Uma Sharma, the festival aims to enrich the lives of the youth with the musical prowess of these masters. The performance schedule for the festival is as follows:
Day 1: Uma Sharma (kathak), Ustad Shujaat Khan (sitar) and Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty (vocal)
Day 2: Ashwini Bhide Deshpande (vocal), Hariprasad Chaurasia (flute) and Ustad Aashish Khan (sarod)
Day 3: Vishwamohan Bhatt (mohan veena), Chhannulal Mishra (vocal) and Anoushka Shankar (sitar)
Day 4: Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan (sarod)
