Breakfast Pizzeria by The Pasta Bowl Company, Gurgaon
The team that’s been serving us deliciously authentic pastas for years has now got a treat for the early risers. They’ve taken over the adjoining place and now feature an Italian breakfast menu with the likes of a croissant called Cornetti and a good cup of Joe with biscotti to start things off as well as gourmet pizzas. Mains include Cannoncini (Rs 300) aka cream horns, Crostata (Rs 255) or soft tarts, Casserole Colazione (Rs 325), and Brioschine with Nutella (Rs 150).

Walking Street by Soi 7, Sector 29, Gurgaon
We can’t seem to get enough of craft beer and that shows in the number of breweries opening across the NCR. Adding another outlet in Sector 29 is the team behind Soi 7 who have come up with this one just next to their other property of Adda. Spread across three floors and equipped with snooker and foosball tables –you’ll find craft brews along with Pan Asian, Indian and European delicacies here.

The newest brewery in the beer suburb of Delhi opened its doors past weekend and we are already hearing great things about their brews – especially their Indian Pale Ale and Wheat Beer. From the team behind Hops n Brew in Sector 29, the menu includes an extensive choice of quick bites and some interesting cocktails as well. Watch this space for more.

IKKA – The Ace Bar, Rajouri Garden
The new “biggest bar in town”, Ikka is spread over 7,500 sq feet and two floors as well as a terrace. The design on the first floor is classy and eludes to a royal past, while the second floor has the modern feel of a musical studio. Both floors see river stone finish bars and stages meant for events, as it’s pegged as the next big music hotspot. The bar stocks an extensive beverage menu with classic drinks and signature conoctions, and the food menu has handpicked items from across various regions. Think twisted dishes such as Butter Chicken Risotto, Pudina Raita Kebabs and more.

Privee at Shangri-La’s Eros, Janpath
Not many sprawling nightclubs open up these days, but Privee spread across 10,335 sq ft with an exclusive dance floor and VIP area is an exception. They’ve also introduced a unique concept of Breathe n Brooze, which is all about breathing rather than drinking alcohol! You’ll have to experience it for yourself to believe it, as the team takes it seriously with a tagline of “breathe responsibly”. The state-of-the-art LED lights give an eclectic feel to the place that has a 50 foot long bar stocked with some of the finest vintage liquor around. Get your party shoes on and check it out!

Following Novotel, Accor’s Pullman has set up camp in the airport hotel zone with a plethora of dining options, Of these, we love the concept of Pluck – a modern day eatery with an inhouse farm at the lobby level that offers a multi-cuisine seasonal menu. Expect grills, roasts, salads and desserts as well as your favourite tipple and cocktails plus a stylish delicatessen with a range of tea, coffee and other beverages along with freshly baked goodies that doubles up as a dessert tapas bar in the evening.

Earlier known as Sparrow Café, the bistro has revamped its look as well as offerings with a chef consultant onboard. Serving up Continental, Mediterranean, Mexican and Italian specialiaties in quirky interiors – TUB is a spot you can sit back and relax at for hours. Plus, they are offering a launch discount of 10% to students, so make sure you drop in ASAP.
