FLYP At MTV is celebrating New Year with a performance by Barmer Boys. The renowned ambassadors of Rajasthani folk music, Barmer Boys carry forward the musical traditions of the Manganiyars. With Manga Khan on vocals, Rais Khan on percussions and Mangu Khan on the dholak, the band’s repertoire includes contemporary folk and Sufi music coupled with modern elements like DJ sets and beat boxing.
But that’s not all. DJ Maddy will also be in the house, playing a fabulous set to get everyone down to the dance floor. There will also be a sumptuous spread and some whacky cocktails!
