Fusing their individual genre and style of music, The Quartet comes for a live performance, at Depot 29, this Friday. Sharing the stage will be - Sanjeeta Bhattacharya on vocals, Ekaterina Aristova on double bass and bass guitar, Takar Nabam on guitar and Kunal Netrapal on drums.
Sanjeeta, a Delhi based vocalist, has a background in Hindi classical music, while simultaneously exploring sounds from the world over including jazz, RnB, bossa nova and flamenco. Takar is a Delhi based guitarist, singer-songwriter, composer. He released his debut album, Same Sky, in February, this year. Ekaterina, originally from Russia, is a trained classical piano player. Kunal, native to Delhi, has been performing professionally since 2009.
