The traditional fair - The Festival of Flower Sellers: Phoolwalon ki Sair, is celebrated every year in Delhi. This year, Heritage Walk is conducting a special walk during the event, sharing stories behind the festival, legends of the Pandavas, the marvels of the dargah of Qutb Sahib and the political disorder in the Mughal dynasty. Celebrated with flying kites, qawwalis and wrestling matches, the weeklong event will take place at Qutb Sahib’s dargah and Yogmaya temple.
The walk will take you through – landmarks in Mehrauli village, step well, the tank where Prophet left his mark, a khanqah of eunuchs, pleasure palace of mughals, to name a few.
