Striving to bring something unusal with each gig, Depot 48 will be featuring - ‘Ensamble Transatlantico de Folk Chileno’, this Saturday. Crated back in 2012 in Chile, the ensemble has Ernesto Calderón (founder, composer and accordionist) on the lead, along with Chilean musicians Cristóbal Araya (saxophone and clarinet) and Montserrat Vásquez (Percussions).
Joining them for the evening will be some Indian musicians - Parvati M. Krishnan (Spanish vocals), Rohit Prasanna (bansuri), Soumitra Thakur (sitar), Durgesh Kanwal (tabla) and Aditya Bhagavatula (drums).
