The 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) is an international short film competition taking place in 140 cities worldwide. They are featuring the Delhi edition over the weekend, where the participation is open for teams from in and around Delhi. The jury will consist of some eminent personalities, including - Shekhar Gupta, Habib Faisal, Shabana Azmi, Rajit Kapur, Nagesh Kukunoor, Paromita Vohra, Parvin Dabas, Amol Palekar and Anuja Chauhan.
The challenge is to make a film in 48 hours, once the event kick offs on Friday. Each team will be allotted a genre and props along with character and dialogues, which needs to be part of your film. You will get only the weekend perio to complete your scripting, shooting and editing. The 48HFP is a test of everything that you have learnt about filmmaking and mainly team and time management. This one comes as a high energy, exciting event with over 800 professional, amateurs and students of filmmaking taking part each year in each city.
