Anubhav Nath presents ‘The 2nd edition of Divine Dieties ’- an interpretation of the divine by Raja Ravi Varma and 4 contemporary artists- Harshavardhan Kadam, Abhishek Singh, Ujan Dutta and Keshav.
The 2nd edition brings a chance for art lovers to view the God and goddesses from the perspective of these contemporary artists; along with a rare collection of unique zardosi work byRaja Ravi Varma oleographs, that shall form the backdrop for the exhibition. The exhibition consists of more than 100 artworks: paintings, oleographs, digital prints, sketches, drawings and watercolors, ranging in size from 15 cms by 15 cms to 15 feet by 6 feet.
Abhishek, from Gwalior, graduated from National Institute of Design in Ahemdabad. His paintings, artworks have been exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Academy of Fine Arts and Literature in Delhi as well as the visionary Fractal Gallery at Burning Man and on the Ghats of Varanasi via Shiva. Harshavardhan graduated from NID, Ahemdabad. He conceives, perceives and executes his experiences through visuals; the mythologies seeded in his vision, he found his forte in contemporaneous story telling. Keshav has a passion for drawing from childhood and is a self taught artist; he became a cartoonist with the National Daily, ‘The Hindu’ since 1987, where he continues as an editorial consultant. Ujan is a self taught artist from New Delhi and is currently a graphic designer based in India.
