A timeless political satire, this is about three cunning hoodlums who want to become rich and famous. They do this by conning people into believing that a goat owned by a poor villager belongs to Mahatma Gandhi and that it has magical powers. Manoj, a very responsible young man, questions the villagers about their belief system and tries to educate them on how they are being fooled by the trio using the goat as a religious and political weapon. People however are so involved in this chaos that they do not believe him, and politicians label him as anti – national. An interesting watch.
