Bringing the drama, energy, fun and excitement of a real life carnival to life is the relatively new bar and restaurant Circus. With a flair for theatrics, their week-long celebration, aptly titled Circus Carnival, aims to revive childhood memories and a give you a whiff of nostalgia with a unique theme for each day.
A series of events tied together over the coming week, the “party under the big top (tent)” kicks off on July 8th. The carnival will featured eight varied acts, paired with a specially curated menu of food and drinks, for each night. Kick things off with the Mad Hatter Party this Friday, where you can tumble down the rabbit hole to join the Mad Hatter for a wild shindig. Those sporting funky headgear will be entitled to a complimentary house special cocktail as well, so do your best.
July 9th will see Birth Of Wheel – gamifying the drink ordering experience by providing a Wheel of Fortune inspired roulette wheel. Each side of the wheel entitles you to a privilege or a special cocktail or even discounts alongside a cheeky dare and more. Then there’s the Suicide Squad Night (July 10th) adding spice to your Sunday with wicked costumes and a sinister theme.
Monday brings along some booze gyaan with Mixology 101, where one can learn the fine art of mixing drinks from an expert team at only Rs 500 per person. Pick up skills for your next house party and sample some complimentary concoctions. Then bring those jammies out as July 12th is a Pyjama Party or if that’s too laidback for you, get your game face on for Cocktail Pong Wednesday. The latter will be a more gripping version of the popular bar game – beer pong – and will come with a Circus twist. July 14th will be a Shot Olympics At Circus where you try your luck with the Circus hoop while guzzling down specially curated shots. And finally, the Grand Finale or the final act for the week, on July 15th with see celebrity DJ Zulfi Syed and guitarist Apernit Singh close things off on a high.
