Amongst the long line of 10-15 newbies that have opened together in Rajouri Garden, AM:PM is the best looking kid on the block. Classy leather high couches with wooden tables and black metal lamps add to its international vibe and modern style interiors. With an interactive bar and live kitchen, this place gets our vote in terms of the ambience. The music could be a little less loud and better curated to suit the theme, though most patrons don’t seem to mind. The bar is stocked up with every spirit you could want, and their cocktails span classics named after the stars that loved them. We tried Madonna#39;s Pomegranate Martini, which was potent and hit the right notes. In comparison, the Paan Mojito was fun but not very convincing, leading us to the conclusion that this attempt at Indian fusion should be retired by most bars, because we are yet to try a good rendition. The food menu is also vast with prominent quotes from rock n roll legends and icons. Regular pub grub aside, they have some childhood memories on the plate with Railway Cutlets – served just the way they used to in old school trains. Their Dim Sum need some work in terms of the fillings and were more like spicy momos. Wednesday is Ladies Nights, while Thursday is Sufi – both of which the locals seem to love. With some tweaks in the kitchen, this one could give solid competition, not just to its immediate neighbours, but also some South Delhi cousins.
