Depot 29 presents a night of some lively acoustic music, as EBU and Amreen comes to perform live, this Sunday. Created as the result of collaboration between Mainak ‘Bumpy’ Nag Chowdhury (Kendraka), Bodhisattwa Ghosh (The Bodhisattwa Trio) and Ratul Shankar Ghosh, the triumvirate combined their talents to give a fresh new expression to their songs. They met Armeen Musa while playing, and the band found itself sculpted into shape in the span of three rehearsals. For this very special evening, EBU will perform a two set concert- first with an acoustic set and second with an electric one.
EBU - Ek Bangalir Upakhyan translates to ‘Tales of a Bengali Bloke’; this project comes as a contemporary representation of Bengali artists who are aware of their socio-political and economic surroundings.
