Utsav-Ranjana#39;s Odissi Dance Academy presents Saare Jahan Se Accha; 10th edition of the two day festival celebrating Indian classical dance. This festiva,l in its tenth consecutive year, celebrates the spirit of India’s Independence as a tribute to the valiant martyrs and the great achievers of the nation. The event will be graced by Padmashree Ranjana Gauhar, a world-renowned Odissi dancer; Sharodi Saikia and group; Rajshri Prabharaj; Mohiniyattam duet disciple of Guru Bharti Shivaji; Manipur Group JNMDA; Sarita Kalele; Subha Dhananjay and Kathak Group, disciple of Subha Dhananjay.
The dance festival, throws light on an central aspect of Indian philosophy, that is made up of love, freedom and brotherhood. The mixture of classical dance forms in this festival incorporate and exemplify the vibrant tapestry of our country’s rich cultural heritage and their strength. Eminent and recognised artists from different regions of the country as well as celebrated artists from the Northeast will be performing in the festival.
