The works on display, as part of the British Council collection, will cover various influences in British art. To start with, iconic designs of London’s underground posters which brought avant-garde movements to a wider audience, have been displayed. Photography has also been touched upon, and some rare colour works by Fay Godwin. Also, to round off the collection, the London 2012 Olympic posters will showcase insightful work by some of the most contemporary and celebrated artists in Britain today.
