Cold. Brewed. Coffee. Has that sunk in yet? Launched earlier this year, the good folks at Fresh Brew Co believe in putting Indian origin coffee in every caffeine addict’s cup. Starting with Nespresso compatible capsules that contain freshly roasted and ground coffee from India’s best estates, the team has now moved to Cold Brew Coffee (Rs 400 for 4 bottles) that are delivered straight to your doorstep or desk. This potent elixir is prepared by steeping fine Arabica coffee in cold mineral water overnight – the cold water slowly extracts all the flavours of the coffee grounds – that produces a beautifully flavoured, smooth coffee with minimal acidity and no bitterness. Arriving in handy milk bottle inspired 200ml screwtops, the brew will definitely wake you up! It’s dark and brooding, which is exactly how you should drink it, but you could also pour it over ice or have it with milk. The company recommends drinking the coffee within 5 days from the brew date, but we’ve frozen a bottle (or two) in ice trays to pour into our Gin Tonic over the weekend.

Love it, hate it – you just can’t ignore it. A hot from the oven slice of gooey, meaty goodness can cure every ill and fix the worse of moods. The humble pizza has come a long way from the dough heavy Nirula’s and ubiquitous Domino’s days, and today, a part of the gourmet brigade is being led by the homegrown Instapizza. Starting out as a takeaway and tiny eat-in outlet at Gurgaon’s Galleria Market, the brand has grown into a massive (cheese fuelled) force to reckon with. With thin crust pizzas available in abundance across Delhi NCR, Instapizza’s USP is their authentic Monster Deep Dish. A cross between NYC style and the Neapolitan pizza, their pie reminds us of the Chicago style biggies. And boy are they good! While they churn out classics like Cracker Thin / New York / Thick and even a Ragi Crust for the health freaks, it’s the Monster Deep Dish (Rs 550 onwards) we keep going back for. Get into beast mode and feast on this – two layers of their signature crust stuffed with cheese and an unlimited list of toppings, finished off with a garlicky arrabiata sauce…. Drool! Available in 8 or 10 inches, it’s the kind of indulgence we all need in our life. The base starts out the same for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, but you can add everything from chargrilled zucchini to chorizo to your pizza.

Now, she’s bottling up all that awesomeness into a natural and anti-oxidant rich boost, also known as Cold Teas (Rs 139). Infused with tea leaves and flowers that have been sourced from the Himalayas, these season ready bottles are delicious. We’ve saved the best for last. While this awesome sushi delivery isn’t new and doesn’t need any introductions, they’ve just opened an outlet in Laxmi Nagar that promises express delivery to a whole new demographic. That’s cause for celebration! We love their Sushi Boxes (Rs 295 onwards), besides the Sashimi (Rs 265 onwards) and Nigiri (Rs 130 onwards), but if you want more variety, there’s the Katsu Don (Rs 375), Teriyaki Don (Rs 350), Yaki Soba (Rs 295) and Phad Thai (Rs 195). Plus, they have a truly “happy hour” menu running from 2pm to 5pm (Monday-Thursday) with a flat 20 per cent off on their website.
