The tiny bakery and patisserie in Khan Market recently started an all new breakfast menu to drive away those morning hunger pangs. For those who like to get their health fix early in the day, there are fresh cold-pressed juices and a hot cappuccino to kickstart the morning. Pair these with their range of croissants in Ham and Cheese (Rs 225) or Almond (Rs 145), freshly baked breads such as Ciabatta (Rs 90) and Focaccia (Rs 150) and moist fluffy muffins. We’ve got a real soft spot for the Blueberry Oat (Rs 100) variant.. Looking for more meaty options? There are sandwiches and quiches make for hearty eats from as well.

This cutesy roasterie in Champa Gali has been on our to-do list for a while, so as we wait for the weather Gods to be more merciful and let us go grab a cuppa, the caffeine genies are here to rescue us from the office pantry sludge we’re forced to drink up. Fulfilling our ‘coffee-before-talkie’ vow, the team has started delivering their excellent hot and cold coffee – yes, you read that right! Get an Espresso (Rs 100), Cortado (Rs 140), Mocha (Rs 180), Iced Latte (Rs 170) or a Cold Brew (Rs 150) right on your desk. Now that’s reason enough to wake up in the morning!

Offering a range of signatures, staples and other doughlicious beauties, they even churn out an Espresso Biscotti (Rs 120) that can substitute your daily caffeine fix. Definitely go for the Ciabatta (Rs 70) with the perfect crust and great body. It makes great sandwiches and can also be consumed plain drizzled with a little olive oil. The Garlic Bread (RS 80) is another fab option and has just the right amount of flavour to mop up some bacon grease (wink, wink). They also do buttery Croissants, Danish as well as Tea Cakes and treats like a Ham Cheese Bread that we#39;re saving for next time. For a sweet hit in the end, the Oats Cranberry Cookie (Rs 70) is all kinds of awesome.

Bringing guilt-free indulgence to our AM eats is this quaint café in GK1 that has started home delivery of all our favourite staples. A blessing for late risers and those who love their omelettes at any hour, they send out juices, smoothies, pancakes, baked beans, fruit plates and much more. We love their Full English Breakfast (Rs 375) loaded with beans on toast, chicken sausages, hash browns, grilled tomato, sunny side up and a cup of tea or coffee. Looking for healthier alternatives? They have slow pressed juices like Green Goblin (Rs 205) loaded with wheatgrass, red apple and lime. After a night long session, give a shot to their Hangover Fix (Rs 205) – a mix of pineapple, mango, strawberry and wheatgrass. Their all-day breakfast menu (Rs 95) includes options like Steamed Sweet Corn, Cup of Sprouts, Masala Oats and Banana Cinnamon Oats.
