A Hindi musical comedy, based on a common man’s greed of money and negligence of the more important things in life. The story revolves around a villager Pappu and his wife Rampyaari who move to the city away from their simple village life and get caught up in ways of the world.
Even when Pappu dies and goes to heaven, he does not let go of his greed for money and other material things. Eventually he gets thrown out of heaven too. The play is a jab at the rising greed and the increase of the desire for material things in today’s world.
