The play beautifully recreates the last mushaira that took place at Lal Qila before the revolt of 1857. It presents some of the greatest Urdu poets on stage – Ghalib, Zauq, Momin, Dagh, Tishnah, Sheftah and Bahadur Shah Zafar, all of whom are portrayed by Tom Alter.
