Depot 29 is all set to welcome an ensemble of some of the finest talents and names in the classical music industry. Assembled by Fakhroddin Ghaffari, the event will feature a combination of musicians from different parts of the world.
Leading the ensemble himself, Ghaffari would be playing the lead percussions. His mastery in the percussions helped him share the stage in the past with maestros like Abida Parveen and Hans Raj Hans.
Gyan Singh will be bringing his own unique colour of tabla, to Ghaffari’s percussion set.
Seraj Khan will be playing the acoustic and electric mandolin while Fateh Ali Khan, a student of Ustad Ghulam Sabir Khan, will be playing the sitar.
Ahsan Ali Khan and William Rees will bring a different colour of music by playing the sarangi and the rabab.
Accompanying them will be Lisa Moulet, a France based kathak and middle-eastern dancer, along with her team of dancers.
