This May ,Nazdeek Desmania Foundation presents Colonial to Corporates which is a photo installation of Adivasi mother’s journey through Assam tea fields.. This exhibition will bring more light on the struggle of tea plantation workers who are brought to Assam forcibly by the British. These workers have worked on low wages and high maternal mortality. By the use of photography, video and interactive technology including 360 virtual tours, the installation is an accumulation of yesterday and today. This will help to take action towards the condition of these workers.
