Celebrating the ‘May Day’ on May 1st, the event comes in wake to both acknowledge and salute the workers struggle. With a selective and rare collection of books the event will feature line up of performances and readings at May Day Bookstore Cafe. Some names to grace the event include, Ari Sitas, the renowned South African poet and professor, who shall read his poetry, as will Akhil Katyal. Further, publisher of Tulika – Indira Chandrasekhar will be speaking on JNU. Dilip Khan, a young journalist, will present his biting and hilarious take on nationalism.
