Breakthrough and Centre for Internet and society in collaboration with Darwesh bring to you Wikipedia Editathon On Tawaifs of Northern India. The event will begin with the screening of the documentary film The Other Song, directed and written by Saba Dewan who will also be present there. After the screening, the participants will edit the wikipedia pages that are associated with prominent tawaifs from Delhi, Lucknow and Banaras as well as pages that talk about related performing arts like thumri and Kathak.
