To celebrate 104 years of Zohra Sehgal#39;s magic, Raza Foundation, Pallavi Odissi Nritya Sangeet Vidyalaya and India International Centre comes together for a day of music, dance and entertainment.
From 11.30 am to 1 pm there will be a #39;Remembering Zohra#39; with Amal Allana, Sadia Dehlvi and MK Raina, chaired by Kapila Vatsyayan; followed by film screening of Bend It Like Beckham. There will be a Odissi dance performance at 6.30 pm by Madhyama Sehgal and Dastongi, all on first day, with Shri Ashok Vajpeyi as chief guest.
The second day (April 24th) will feature #39;Chand Roz Aur Meri Jaan#39; a play by Wings Cultural Society. The play is theatrical rendition of letters exchanged between Faiz and Alys, his wife, during his imprisonment in Sindh. The evening will close with #39;Chandradas Chor#39; by Habib Tanvir’s Naya Theatre.
