Taj Mahal Hotel brings you the city’s first edition of International Wine and Food Experience 2016 that is certain to leave food and wine aficionados asking for more. Designed by Keith W Edgar, the evening will offer wine from more than 50 wineries and a specially prepared gourmet affair by leading chefs from across the globe. World favourites, from Californian rolls to South African sosatie, Australian meat pie and Indian galouti and kebabs, the experience will bring together international cuisines under a roof for an evening of revelry. Experts, such as Liam Steevenson and Prince Duccio Corsinio, will also be present to share their understanding of wine and fine spirits. The event will be at the poolside lawn.
On March 26th, at the Aftab Mehtab banquet hall, be part of an exclusive master-class, which will have a session each on Drappier’s delicious champagnes, Astrolabe’s sauvignon blanc by Liam Steevenson, Japan’s much-loved sake by Kei Choshiya, followed by a presentation on the process and magic of ice wine production. For lunch, enjoy delicacies like pan-seared tuna with enoki and button mushroom marinade, smoked ricotta ravioli, duck preparations and strawberry charlotte, while you discover what makes the finest wines in the world so coveted.
