Directed by: MS Sathyu
MS Sathyu’s Dara Shikoh is considered a modern classic and is the story of Shah Jehan’s eldest son. Shikoh was a great visionary and an extremely spiritual man who understood Indian civilization. He was later betrayed by his brother Aurangzeb. The play focuses on Shikoh’s Sufi leanings and aims to spread the message that there is no place for fundamentalism in India’s composite culture.
