The combined exhibition – Trans, will be showcasing artists both from Korea and India. Organised by Narae Jin with support of Korean Culture Centre, the exhibition will be showcasing a contemporary themed set of work, including – paintings, videos, installations, drawings etc.
There will be 10 artists from both countries, participating in the event. Korean artists – Narae Jin, Bokyung Jun, Goun Seo, Siren Eun Young Jung; Indian artists – Gagan Singh, Leena Kejriwal,Rakhi Peswani, Aditi Nagarath, AjaySharma and Vandana K.
The exhibition highlights the issue of Feminism to reflect upon and to understand the varied perspectives of points like gender, identity, transnatonalism, power, tolerance, environment, animal, rights, cyborg, machine civilization; using different mediums.
